By plane
Bus No. 172 starts at Terminal 3/4 and calls at the Underground Station Mundsburg.
This is in the immediate vicinity of the Finkenau:
Cross the street "Lerchenfeld" and turn onto "Oberaltenallee". After about 200 metres turn right onto "Finkenau", the Hamburg Media School is on the left side after about 250 metres.

By train
From Hamburg central station, take the Underground U3 to the Station Mundsburg. Cross the street "Lerchenfeld" and turn onto "Oberaltenallee". After about 200 metres, turn right at the first crossway onto "Finkenau". The Hamburg Media School is on the left side after about 250 metres.

By car
Motorway A7 / E45
Keep to the left at the interchange "Horster Dreieck". At the interchange "Maschener Kreuz" you are directed onto the A1 / E22 automatically. At the junction Hamburg-Süd continue straight ahead onto motorway A255.
The motorway terminates at "Hamburg Veddel" and takes you onto the “Neue Elbbrücke” (Elbe Bridges) via the through road B4/B75.
In Hamburg, continue straight ahead on the B75 („Billhorner Brückenstraße“) onto “Steinhauerdamm“ and "Mühlendamm". Follow this road and then turn left onto the B5 road “Lerchenfeld”.
Turn right onto "Oberaltenallee", and then take the first turn right onto "Finkenau". The Hamburg Media School is on the left side after about 250 metres.

Motorway A24
Drivers coming from the east continue onto the A24 towards Hamburg by keeping to the right at the junction “Hamburg Ost”. The motorway A24 terminates at “Hamburg Horn“ at a roundabout. Take the second turn off the roundabout onto "Sievekingsallee".
In Hamburg take a right turn onto the through road B5 “Landwehr”. Continue on the B5 and after 1.5 km turn right onto "Oberaltenallee". Then take the first turn right onto "Finkenau". The Hamburg Media School is on the left side after about 250 metres.

Motorway A7
Coming from the north, leave the motorway at “Hamburg Schnelsen” and keep to the right on the slip road B447 / “Schleswiger Damm” (coming from the south, keep to the left accordingly). In Hamburg,
turn left on "Siemersplatz" onto the "Osterfeldstraße" road. Continue straight ahead on the B5 "Heinickestraße" and "Ludolfstraße" turn left into, stay on the right lane at "Winterhuder Marktplatz" market place and turn onto "Barmbeker Straße". Continue straight ahead onto "Herderstraße“. Then follow the road around the loop around Mundsburg Underground station, “Schürbeker Bogen”, turn left onto "Lerchenfeld" and immediately right onto "Oberaltenallee". Then take the first turn right onto "Finkenau". The Hamburg Media School is on the left side after about 250 metres.
