The first year of the program is dedicated to building a foundation in the three focal categories of Business Administration and Management Skills, Media Business and Production, and Context and Values.
This includes coursework that provides fundamental knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics, law, controlling, and marketing; as well as seminars on media markets, project management, and media psychology.
This theoretical knowledge is applied throughout the first year of the program in practice oriented projects. The year ends with a three month practical phase in which students complete internships in domestic and international media companies.
In addition, a variety of supplementary programs are offered, including academic coaching, presentations on current topics, and discussions with experts.
