Hamburg Media School Scholarships
To us, supporting young professionals is a kind of quality assurance of our sophisticated study courses. The HMS regularly awards partial or full scholarships to committed and qualified media talents. We have an equal-opportunities policy and encourage dedicated applicants lacking necessary resources to complete their studies without any financial barrier. Several factors are taken into account to allocate scholarships. Academic achievements to date are just as important as high social competence and the extracurricular commitment of scholarship candidates as well as the performance in the assessment centre held during the application procedure. Prospective students can only apply for a no-charge study after successfully completing the application procedures.

In addition, many of the sponsoring companies are keen to support talented young professionals financially. Noted media houses such as RTL Nord, the Hamburg Press Club, or the VDZ Magazine Academy already belong to those bearing the tuition fees for talented young journalists.
