Admission to the Master of Arts in Journalism at Hamburg Media School requires the following:

• The German “Abitur”
  or an equivalent Secondary School diploma,
  
• A university degree
  from a university or college, preferably in Law, Economics, Sciences, Politics, Cultural Studies or Sports,
  
• Fluency in German
  (Applicants need excellent German skills, both written and oral. Knowledge of other foreign languages is not required.),
  
• Practical Experience
  (Applicants need a proof of at least a six-month internship in the field of journalism or public relations.),
  
• Participation in the application process
  and timely submission of all required application documents.
