The application process is split into two stages.

Step 1 – Online and written Application

I. Online Application
An application form, filled out with all relevant information, will be sent to HMS through an automatic e-mail function.

II. Written Application
a) Certified copies of:
-    your “Abitur” or equivalent Secondary School final report
-    your university degree (results of tests that will be completed after the application deadline can be handed in at a later date)

b) Your CV (in English)

c) Letter of Motivation – Describe, on one to two pages, your reasons for applying for the Executive MBA program.

d) A passport photograph (with your name and signature on the back)

e) Other reports and certifications

Step 2 – Personal Interview and Assessment Center

The best applicants will be invited to attend a personal interview and assessment center. This consists of a number of single interviews and a presentation in front of an admissions committee. These interviews take place on the HMS campus in Hamburg.
The committee will inform candidates of their decision approximately two to three weeks after the last interview has taken place.
