Applicants to the MBA in Media Management program should have the following qualifications:

Abitur/ Secondary School degree

“Abitur”, A-Levels or equivalent foreign High School degree.

University Degree
A Diploma, Bachelor or Master's degree from a university, technical college or equivalent third-level institution. The degree must qualify the student to pursue a Master's degree.
(Applicants without a third-level degree are required to have a minimum of 3–5 years’ work experience. Admission will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.)

German Language Skills
If you are a foreign student and have spent less than five years in Germany we will need proof of your fluency in German.
Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is a requirement. The generally required level of German is the DSH (German language test for university admission). This is equivalent to the level of the ZOP (Central High School testing board) of the Goethe Institute or the Test of Business German (PWD) of the Goethe Institute. Proof of having passed any one of these tests is required. Information about when and where the tests can be taken is provided on the following website: http://www.goethe-institut.de/

Timely and complete handing in of the application and participating in the application procedure
In general we are looking for first-rate candidates – regarding various criteria, not only high grades. The assessment centre provides an opportunity to prove communication skills, mental flexibility and leadership qualities. Rusty working knowledge of mathematics or Excel are not a drawback; especially Humanities students have made use of our Jump-Start Courses to refresh school knowledge.
