Im Fachgebiet "Medienmanagement" unterrichten pro Studienjahr rund 40 renommierte Lehrkräfte und Privatdozenten aus Wissenschaft und Medienpraxis. Darüber hinaus engagieren sich Vorstände und Führungskräfte der fördernden Unternehmen regelmäßig mit Vorträgen, Kamingesprächen oder als Jurymitglieder bei der Bewertung studentischer Praxisprojekte und über das Angebot von Praktika.
Dr. Vural Ünlü
Dr. Vural Ünlü is Managing Director of Imperat GmbH which provides consulting services and engages in the trading of media rights.
Dr. Vural Ünlü graduated in ESB Reutlingen and London with a German and English first-class undergraduate degree in business administration. He also earned an MBA with distinction from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (ICADE) in Spain.
Following his postgraduate studies, he joined Gemini Consulting in 1999 and worked as a Senior Consultant in the Bad Homburg office on a range of strategy projects. On behalf of EM.TV AG, he acquired the exclusive commercialization rights of the FIFA World Cup 2006™ licensing program with a retail volume exceeding €2bn and managed successfully these rights, doubling their commercial value vis-à-vis the last FIFA World Cup™ cycle for the world football organization FIFA. He subsequently held the position as Head of International Business of EM.Sport Media AG (now renamed into Constantin Medien AG) and generated significant business with international sports events and sponsorship activities. Since 2010, he is member of the General Assembly of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) on behalf of the Turkish public broadcaster TRT.
Dr. Ünlü consults international public and private broadcasters, rights holders, sports federations/clubs, consumer brands, online platforms and financial service providers, also in cooperation with international consulting companies.
He received his doctoral degree (Dr. oec. publ.) in 2004 with a magna-cum-laude standing from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. His thesis „Content Protection – Economic analysis and techno-legal implementation“ suggests solutions to the problem of digital piracy. He has a dual citizenship, that of Turkey and Germany, and speaks five languages. Since 2009, he serves in an honorary capacity as the President of the Turkish Community in Bavaria (Türkische Gemeinde in Bayern e.V.), one of the leading migration-related non-profit organizations in Bavaria.
