Newsgeist 2026 at HMS
Hamburg Media School is proud to host Newsgeist 2026, one of the leading international conferences exploring the future of journalism. Together with the Center for News, Technology & Innovation (CNTI), Newsgeist brings together journalists, media executives, researchers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from around the world.
For more than a decade, Newsgeist has provided a unique forum for open, cross-disciplinary conversations about the most pressing opportunities and challenges facing journalism. Topics include artificial intelligence, trust in news, newsroom innovation, sustainable business models, and the evolving role of journalism in an increasingly complex information ecosystem.
With its collaborative and highly interactive format, Newsgeist creates space for inspiring talks, practical workshops, and meaningful discussions designed to spark new ideas and foster lasting connections.
