Marcel Thomaschowski

Während seines Studiums der Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaft an der Universität Wien realisierte er bereits mehrere Kurzfilm-Projekte und ist nach seinem Abschluss für ein Jahr nach Kanada gezogen, um in der dortigen Filmindustrie zu arbeiten.
Er konnte als Production Assistant bei diversen amerikanischen Film- und Fernsehproduktionsfirmen arbeiten, die dort zum Beispiel "IZombie" (NETFLIX), "A Million Little Things" (ABC), "See" (APPLE), „Stumptown“ (ABC) und den NETFLIX Feature Film „Coffee & Kareem“ produziert haben.
Nach seiner Rückkehr sammelte er in Wien bei verschiedenen Kino- und TV Filmen, sowie Fernsehserien mehr Erfahrung als Set- und Kameraassistent. Darunter zählen die Kinoproduktionen „Der Onkel/The Hawk“, „Breaking the Ice“ und „Corsage“, als auch der TV-Landkrimi „Vier“ und die ORF Serie „Tage, die es nicht gab“.
Nicht nur international, sondern auch durch die Erfahrung bei dem deutschen Constantin-Tochterunternehmen Hager Moss Film, konnte er besondere, inhaltliche Einblicke in die nationale Kino- und TV Welt erhalten.

During his studies in Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna he already produced several short film
projects and after graduation he moved to Canada to work in the film industry.He was able to work as a production assistant
for several American film and television production companies, producing for example "IZombie" (NETFLIX), "A Million Little
Things" (ABC), "See" (APPLE), "Stumptown" (ABC) and the NETFLIX feature film "Coffee & Kareem". After his return, he
gained more experience as a set and camera assistant on various cinema and TV films, as well as TV series in Vienna.
Among them are the cinema productions "Der Onkel/The Hawk", "Breaking the Ice" and "Corsage", as well as the TV country
thriller "Vier" and the ORF series "Tage, die es nicht gab". Not only internationally, but also through his experience at the
German Constantin subsidiary Hager Moss Film, he was able to gain special, content-related insights into the national
cinema and TV world.
